Overview of Can Tho City, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam

In order to promote mutual development and a wide range of exchange between Hyogo Prefecture and the southern part of Viet Nam, the two regions signed a “Joint Statement on Mutual Cooperation” in the presence of the former head of state H.E. Truong Tan Sang to promote bilateral economic exchange in trade, tourism, human resource development and more.
In addition, the "Can Tho Bridge" was completed in 2010 with ODA from Japan. With its enhanced infrastructure, this is one of the regions with great expectations to attract foreign companies in the future.
