Exchange activities with Hyogo Prefecture
On August 16, 1983, Hyogo Prefecture formed a friendship agreement with Palau and has developed human resources exchange ever since, including youth exchange, acceptance of overseas technical trainees, and the dispatch of experts for the JICA Partnership Program (an environmental cooperation program for the Republic of Palau ‒ environmental conservation for sustainable development of the coastal areas).
Republic of Palau, a paradise of the south sea in the North Pacific, consists of over 300 islands.
